Hello, my name is Ralph Hutchens and I am the appointed incumbent and I am running for election to the Broadmoor Police Commission.

I was born in San Francisco and raised in Daly City attending local schools, Daniel Webster, Christopher Columbus, Ben Franklin, Westmoor High School and Skyline College. I have been happily married for 37 years to my Westmoor High School sweetheart (former Miss Broadmoor 1970 and resident since 1959). We have 3 sons that I am very proud of. I have called Broadmoor Village my home for over 38 years.

My sons grew up here and most of our memories are connected to the Broadmoor Village Community. We have decorated on most all holidays for no other reason than our enjoyment and that of our neighbors and community. I care passionately about this community and want to do my part to assure that it stays the wonderful place it has always been to live.

My commitment to the community, longtime residency and experience working in the community can bring new ideas to the board which would make a great police department even better.

Over the years I have listened to the concerns of my neighbors and community and fought for what I thought was the right thing to do. I want to continue to listen and serve the community and do the best job I can do as a Broadmoor Police Commissioner.

Because of my longtime residency, experience and knowledge of the Broadmoor Village Area, I have been contacted throughout the years by newspaper reporters doing articles, wanting my opinions on different issues concerning the area.

I am a Real Estate Agent and have specialized in the Broadmoor Village Area for over 23 years working for Aetna Realty. I am currently working for Century 21 Alliance.

I have proudly served you as the appointed Broadmoor Police Commissioner and current secretary of the Broadmoor Police Commission.

My strong commitment and work ethic to the community and police department will never be compromised.

I would appreciate your vote, so I can continue to serve you on the Police Commission in a positive and constructive way as a voice for the community.

Your neighbor,
